I would actually give something like Peter suggested.

EXR with compression is trendy so to say.

I just have run in to trouble with post house when they gave us back
VFX that was done on R3D directly as there are options how you use
red. red color3, film gamma etc.

You will have much more control if you give them the material on
gama you like or use.

Just mind the resolution they ask.

Maybe you just have super good and clean setup then ?

I have used my clients win machine with MC and yes it did loose the connection and had
hard time initialising.

Also the whole win7 experience was pretty bad. Older and weaker mac seemed a lot smoother to use
in all aspects.

Hi.

Levels should not affect your colours.

Ask your DCP house for exact input they accept and tell that you have video level output.
In theory they should be able to convert it super accurately like 1%

Make some testes.

We do i here all the time but details may wary.

Proper DCP houses take your 709 video level files and deliver proper DCP.

Your display chain should be correct and then i see no problems.

We do it here on daily basis with Clipster or with software and the results are accurate.

Have not seen this.

Did you grab the logs ?

Sent them in to BM support.

Also re installing may help if not in the media files.
