Hi.
How you plan to calibrate your system so you get what is that you correct?
It seems to me bit tricky to grade wo sdi output.

Hi.
In some time my unit will need also new fan as it starts to make bit noises already. Full warranty is not over yet but for such a small part it would not be good to have unit to repairs for long time. Is there way to get “original” new fan or get detailed information on fan specifications?
Changing it will not be a problem i think.

If you use scope in business then this 80 bucks is really nothing to spend for correctly working tool.

Just see if your setup from control panel (system prefs) are correct to the input you want to use.
Like sdi hdmi etc.
You have to keep in mind that fcp settings must mach the exact signal red gives out
or you get nothing.—

Depends what you need.
If just disk then it is eazy. Just slap in some 4 2tb drives and there you go. Separate drive for os.
This option does not have error tolerance if eny drives will fail.And yes if you try to put same data through “one rope” so to say it will fail compared to internal drives.
Proper way would be with external array with raid 5 or 6.
With hd projects at hand i’d invest a bit or back up often.
