now the big question Stuart – what are you going to do with the $75 if you don’t get the ATI 4670 for your xw4600. Tell me now – what did you have in mind for that money – Food, Medicine ? You are too fat anyway, and those headaches you get – well, we ALL get them (especially the staff of Blackmagic), so stop this nonsense, and buy the ATI 4670.

OK, i really shouldn’t be replying to this, and this question for some reason is just upsetting or confusing people. But, for the last time.

The HP xw4600 is listed as one of the VERIFIED systems on Blackmagics web site.

For what it’s worth, we decided to act upon that information.

Obviously the specs for that system have changed and it is no longer shipped with one of the recommended graphics cards.

We’re not trying to lay blame, we’re willing to eat the cost of the system, it was purchased for a demo only. We’ll now go and buy another graphics card, just so we can demo it correctly. Should we have researched that system better, maybe. Likewise, that system should also no longer be listed on Blackmagics web site.

Laying blame on the end user for a mistake like this is unbelievable. I’m sorry I brought it up.

I am sorry that I have upset you. All I try to do is give you accurate, detailed answers to your questions. I too was very surprised that there were no “off the shelf” computers that work with the Ultrascope. This applies to the entire list that you see on the Blackmagic website. Let me be more specific – if you go to https://www.hp.com, and look at the most expensive “qualified” computer on the Blackmagic list – the HP Z800 – a truly fantastic computer, that is “over qualified” to be used for the Ultrascope, not one ATI or Nvidia graphics card that is listed in the Z800 purchase list (as option graphics cards) will work with the Ultrascope. You would buy a HP Z800, (or Z400, or xw8600, or xw4600) with no graphics card – or buy with a graphics card, and throw it out – and then install one of the suggested cards in the list (like the ATI 4670, or other cards shown on the Blackmagic list). Is this easy – no, it’s not, but this is the way it is.

As to my comments, calling you fat, etc. – this is what I do to EVERYONE on all of these forums, and in person. This is my personality. I like to torment people in a “joking” way. This is who I am, but in the process, I try to answer your questions in as detailed a manner as possible. I am not picking on you – I pick on everyone, including the owners of all of these companies.
