hdlink pro and you get dvi or display port from sdi.
i will go with hd link pro and display port. not to hard to go from dvi version to hdmi.
and yes ports are limited.
but i see your point with the hdmi ports as DeckLink HD Extreme 3D has hdmi on board.

My style got really much faster and gave me time to experiment more

Key pulling seems very fast also.
I have one shot which was total pain in Color.
In test it took me less than few minutes.—

What i ment is DeckLink HD Extreme does 2k.
In software i do not see any visible restrictions also.
If gpu can handle 2k and your machine is up to the data speed then it should work.I see linux point in 3D or 4 k and really difficult corrections with really hi end productions.
For small studios / productions like i have here mac version seems really cool.
2k would interest me also as i plan to correct red stuff and look at it and show to the client with
2k display like 30″ apple lcd.I see no reason why mac version should not play with 2k.
