Look for timecode maybe ?
Sometimes when timecode is off then clips are missing.

Is the picture blurry on prev. window or on external output ?
What is your timeline settings ?
Also if you try to look SD picture on huge hd panel that gives you the softness when picture is scaled a lot.

I think it will depend how fcpx will make lets say xml or omf.
I bet they do not want to make fcp closed system.

Maybe there is some conditions one could use free software.
Lets say output is limited to SD and user knows that support takes 10 days etc.
I do not see why free app should have the same level of support as full suite user.

Some noise emerge when you push your material really hard.
Then one would like to have noise control in grading suite.—

Remote grading: you can have 2 machines with same media files and only exchange metadata to grade remotely. Lets say you are in london and your client is in LA. So you can have remote session so that when you do something in your end your client sees results in the other end.
As Resolve is realtime and you only send metadata by internet you ca have remote session with your client
you staying still london.Power mastering helps you making “online” session with your vtr.

We do not know yet how is Cl gpu speeds. At the moment speed is really big player when using resolve.
System itself will also play a roll here. Lets say you have 2 nodes and imac with one drive.This will limit you in time so big that you will want to use full version on mac pro.
Maybe thunderbolt imac would be better for that but still.And yes monitoring options. External scopes and grade 1 monitoring.
On lite you can estimate what is going on. On full you have the possibility to actually see it
and in real time.—
