Thanks again, I really apreciate your time spending about my problem. Problem depends on media I transcode. With Canon EOS 60D MOV files TC at the head of footage is 0:00:00 and with the AVCHD (SONY HXR-NX5) TC is not correct. In one clip it should start with TC 16:28:20:00 (it is set to base on the time of taking footage in my camera – GMT+1 – POLAND) (and it starts like that when I convert with Cineform converter instead of Prelude). But when I convert (either cineform or DNxHD codec) with prelude TC starts with 8:08:42:03. First i thought it is TimeZone problem but it seems not because ofset is not just hours but also minutes and seconds. The above takes place when I use all AVCHD file structure right from my SD card. When I use only AVCHD movie files (.mt2s/.mts) that are copied to my hard drive without all the AVCHD file structure TC also starts with )0:00:00:00 like MOV files form canon eos.
And those are non-drop frame footages. AVCHDs are 1080i50 and MOVs are 1080p25
Any ideas?

Ok, thank you very much that you try to help me. I’ve checked what you wrote and behaviour using prelude with cineform codec is the same as with DNxHD so it seems that problem is at the prelude side. Next question is what is that problem. Do you use Prelude to transode your files? Does it deal with timecode right?

I use old cineform before it was bought by GoPro. I try to convert to DNxHD with Adobe Prelude.

thanks for your workaround, it really works. What i ‘ve found is that in my case the problem occurs when I try to use MBL on a clip that is rendered. If you delete work area render files it works agains. What might be interesting, when I open new project with rendered clip and use MBL editor I got picture from even previously opened project. It seems that MBL can’t take a picture from rendered clip.

Thanks for your respond. I have already worked it out a bit another way. Everyting I did Was just render with ‘Loseless with Alpha’ output module and that’s working well enought for me for now. But I will surele watch these tutorials.
