    Thanks Kevin,

Yeah I was doing everything scaling, position etc from the control tab. No options in the other one. It doesn’t look like it does sub pixel rendering. I never have this trouble with AE. Funny thing is I can take a clip rendered in AE, import it and the text still looks about the same…Could I have some bad fonts or something?

I’m using futura, nuttin special right?

Now you may be onto something….

say you were going to create a graphic of 2 words….like

    sleep interruptions.

how would you go about it? I just started manipulating the first values I saw under title 3D tab. Is this the wrong place to do a simple scale up or move text accross the screen?…….

    thanks R!
I think I’m just very frustrated at this point….

Thanks a ton for your reply!
I really appreciate it. My searches really don’t turn up but a few posts and they all say pretty much the same thing. I got better results from the first and cheapest Media100 10 years ago!

I’ll take that all into account but all I’m doing is scaling up from 75% to 100 percent. Then I have a lower third just sitting there. They all have the same pixelized look.
another spot has the text moving from outter screen to the middle and so on. I just can’t believe for something this simple there are all these “formulas”. It just doesn’t make sense…. but here we all are…

what do you do about the even number thing when you scale up? somewhere in there it will have to fall on odd number lines…..

    Thanks again,

    anyone else have any suggestions?
