    Does that mean you literally just retype the file extension by erasing .mov and typing in .flv? I’ve read that about h.264 being adopted by flash. I guess I’ll give it a shot.

    Is anything else I need to know? Thanks again John.

    Thanks for the prompt reply John!

    I checked out Sorenson’s Squeeze. Can I safely assume FCP and Compressor do NOT export flv files?

    Also, is there any free encoding software you can recommend? I know there’s a lot of bad free software out there so if you know of a good one that would be appreciated.

    I’m outputting material for television and for archiving. The “broadcast” is for the web but it’ll kept in digital format and hard copy for however long it needs to stored/accessed.

    So what I’m really looking for is a little clarity on outputting for web/computer screens not televisions.
