Outputting for SD Television VS Computers and the web
I’m outputting some docs I shot for a local client, the main plan is for web use.
I shot them at 480 24p.
When I output a standard def 4:3 29.97 NTSC format as a quicktime, the quality looks decent but it still looks degraded. When I print to tape it looks far better.
Does this have anything to do with the fact I’m looking at my Quicktime on an LCD computer screen?
Is there a more appropriate codec for something destined for the web, like h.264, that I can find in Compressor or FCP?
thanks
