Thanks Steve, I also have an AX2000 that shoots AVCHD. And it plays fine.

Yes, the footage plays the same in my media player also. I guess my real question is will the finished DVD from DVDA look this way or is this just a preview/playback issue?

Nevermind. I figured it out. Keep forgetting you have to double click on the folder to show the menu screen which in turns will populate the them and background menu.

Thanks for the info guys. I should have tried that.

Will this show up in the finished rendered product if I didn’t change it?

    Thanks Steve & Stephen.

Actually I’d never planned to put the full 2.5 on one DVD. I was going to split that into two seperate ones.

My real question was in regards to the YouTube files. I’m using Vegas Pro 10 and still a little green when it comes to all the bells and whistles it has.

If I understand your recommendation I could select each song, one at a time, render that song using Sony AVC encoder, save in a file, then pull those individual files onto a DVD data disk for the client to load on YouTube as he desires. Correct?

    Diane,

I had the same question and was just hours away from asking the same thing.

    Thanks for asking.

    Thanks Steve,

I’ve heard mention of the Dynamic Ram preview before. Can you explain how to do that?

I stick with Sony brand. They may cost a little more but I never worry about quality.

    John,

When you say render settings, is there an option no matter what template is used to render at a good or best setting? I may have just never noticed it if there was, or like you said, used the default of good.

I need to ask a really stupid question here. So the end result quality of your video is also determined by what you have your preview screen set at? I guess I really never have asked the question of what the different variations of the preview screen are for.

Sorry John. I think I understand now. Unless I’m going to burn to Bluray I can use the settings you mentioned whether it’s a 12 minute dvd or an hour.
