Just in case anyone runs into the same issue. I returned the card and the new one works perfectly. Must have been faulty.

Thanks for the reply.

I did try the Blackmagic Media Express software with the sample color bars that were included and I still have the same issue. I’m thinking its not software related. I contacted support and they’re trying to figure it out too.

Also, I have been turning on the HDTV before the Computer.

I’ve tried numerous codecs, from DV to HD uncompressed, using existing media and using the “Bars & Tone” generator in FCP. I got it to playback for a bit longer (10secs at a time), but it still drops out.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the blackmagic deck control came with the Intensity.

Is there no control application for the Intensity? Or a way to determine its current video output?
