I just have CS6 not CC so that option is not there, only to go to the playback preferences, which is a pain. Hmm, any other solutions?

I had another issue, I installed Cineform on my PC and all the converted clips have no audio. Any clue why this would happen?

Actually, I had a bit of a snag, I gave it 32 gigs of 5d Mark 2 files to convert and it did fine with 80% of the files. Then is just froze. I had to force quit, then could not event get the app to start. I had to uninstall it and then install it again.

Another thing, it seems much slower than Mpeg Streamclip. I want to advanced settings and chose 720p but then moved the slider to “high quality” just wondering if that’s important for web/maybe dvd output.

Thanks, it’s a lot simpler that Mpeg Streamclip. I like how you can pick your in and out points as well. Cheers!

Whoops, I shot it accidentally in 25fps when my whole project is in 24. Since there is so much motion it’s quite noticeable. Would taking it in Cinema tools help?

Hey, I have a similar issue. What Blackmagic product is best for this, the Intensity or HD Link, I don’t need it so much for monitoring, but for smooth playback.

I just figured it out, I made my duplicate project bins “make offline” then relinked to the 422, man, what a difference in speed and playback. H264 can go F itself says the noob.

Okay, I have transcoded all the footage to ProRes. I renamed the H264 folder and moved it, but when when I open the copied project, it still sees the H264 files, I can’t seem to make them offline. I moved them some more in different folders but each launching of FC it read the original media fine. Why is it still seeing this media if I have moved it?

Will I have to move it to a different drive and then force FC to made those files offline?

I’ve also been having a very hard time making transitions. I have it mapped to Command + T for the default. So I have the playhead between two clips and then hit command + T and nothing happens. Then I go and shift and select both clips then hit command and T and then my default transition happens. So for this shortcut, I have to highlight the two clips first? Please tell me this is not true.
