    Thank you Bernard,
I think I tried both, I even tried waves.
I am rendering again right now in Vegas 12, I loaded the mgp2 file in Vegas 12 and rendered again with my template, the difference is unbelievable.
As soon I am done with this project I will post the screen shots.

    Thank you

Thank you, this is an idea.
I already packed the TV ready to return it, I was going to buy another Samsung because the smaller Samsung works well. I got find the manual on line to see if it’s possible.
The only output from the interface is a USB port.
The only two problems I can see with this set-up are: The TV must be on all the time and there may be a little delay

    I guess it would help

Video card: Zotac GEFORCE GT 640
Audio interface: Presonus Audio Box 44 VSL
    Computer: CYBERPOWER
    Windows 10 64 bit
    Intel I7 3.50 GHZ
    Memory: 32GB Ram

The card manufacturer told me this card doesn’t support 4K TV. He couldn’t answer why it works properly when in Vegas 16 I choose the TV’s speakers it works properly. It only has a problem when I choose the audio from the interface.
I called Presonus, they couldn’t help.

    Thank you

  • Thank you John,
This is puzzling because the problem only happens when I choose in Vegas to send the audio to my Presonus audio interface.

When the audio and video go together through the HDM cable to the television everything works fine. I checked with COSTCO the high speed cable supports 4K.

I will start a new thread. Thank you

  • I am a musician, I videotape my performances and show them on YOUTUBE and Public access TV. For years I mixed my audio on studio monitors. When I watched the Show on my large flat screen TV , I was always disappointed with the results. For the simple reason that flat screen TV are not capable of reproducing the deep bass that is in the music, it appeared the vocals were almost without music. I went out and purchased cheap computer speakers, it was an improvement but I was not there yet. I got a 32″ tv and alternate between the studio monitors, the cheap computer speakers and the TV. When I get a good sound from the television, it improved the total sound on the studio monitors as well. I use a singer’s video that I like as a reference.
Now I went crazy and got a 43″ Vizio HD TV to replace my 32″ Samsung TV. All the hell broke loose. I connected the new TV with the same high speed HDM Cable. When in Vegas properties I choose the television as the Audio Device everything works fine. When I choose the studio monitors connected to my Presonus interface the TV turns itself on and off every 30 seconds.
I connected my 32″ Samsung back, it works fine. The 32″ television is not a 4K TV and is a few years old.
Someone told me the problem may be the video card in the computer doesn’t support 4K Televisions. What the video card has to do with the audio? Can this be the problem?

    Hi,
For years I’ve been using a 32″ Samsung television to edit in Vegas, all worked fine.
Last week I decided to buy a new television to edit. COSTCO had a Vizio 40″ HD television at a good price, so I got one.

I took the television home hooked it up the same way, with the same high speed HDM Cable, the television works fine. when in Vegas 16 preferences I choose the television’s speakers to play the sound.

To the computer I have audio monitor speakers connected to with a Presonus audio interface. As soon in properties> Audio Device I choose Presonus interface, the Vizio TV turns itself on and off in cycles of about 30 seconds. I called VIZIO support they couldn’t help.

Thinking I had a bad TV I brought it back to Costco and got a new one. Same problem persist.

Does anyone know what’s causing this?

When I connect the older Samsung TV back with the same cable it weorks fine!

    Thank you Mike,

This worked well, it got as loud as I wanted.

Before rendering I also applied an AUD Maximizer and a Limiter.

    I saved the preset.

    Thank you Mike,
I think this is it! I think I did this a few years ago and it worked.
I will try and let you know how it works.
    Thanks!

    Hello John,
Some good news and some bad!
After re-installing window 7 a few times and re-installing Vegas, I lost all my special set-ups that I had.
I was still having several problems with crashes, I unchecked Acceleration for my video card, now everything works fine but the preview is not accurate, I also inserted a wide screen TV in the system to get another preview but still the rendered product is different it appears as I used to much contrast.

I render top mpg2 using the DVD Architect set-up, for the audio I use the AC stereo template, the final product is not as loud. I had a template for audio that increased the volume. I found the information on this forum, I lost it when I re-installed Vegas and DVD ARCHITECT. Do you know where I can find it again?

A suggestion for the members who deal with music audio. When mixing keep in mind the systems people use to watch the video.

    Thank you

  • Thank you John,
I think the card that came with my computer is embedded in the motherboard.

I didn’t have a stuttering problem, I had an audio out of sync and a crashing problem. The reason I mentioned TIME it is because some of the members were pressed for time. If I did this for a living, I couldn’t put up with crashes I would be pressed to find and resolve the problem even if it would mean dumping Vegas, computer etc. As a musician I carry 2 PA Systems and two keyboards I double everything just in case something fails, I would do the same if I was a videographer.

Let’s hope by installing a new OS and all new drivers the problem is resolved. If the problem persist then I will look for a different card, but I would like a card that in the preview would show me exactly what the finished product will look like.

I think the card you mention above, cost more then $300.

My next multitrack project will be in a few months.
