Chris,

I am going for .mov.

I sorted it out meanwhile. All I did was checking “Render at Maximum Depth” and “Use Previews”? Now its all fine. Not sure which one made the difference, though. Would be glad for any hint and any background regarding my initial question.
Am I running danger to loose information when using previews? I used the “DSLR” preset for my sequence settings…(prores footage, exported to h264 mov)
