    Hi Philip,

If you go to the ‘Stroke Menu’ then hit the ‘Fly-out’ sub menu, there is a ‘Stroke Style’ option and you can create your own custom strokes (make sure you choose ‘Type’- Stripe within the drop down and then you can choose what you need (grab the black lines and move them to where you require also the small black arrows at the side or type into the ‘Start’ and ‘Width’ to be more precise.

    Hopefully this helps!

February 1, 2011 at 10:47 am in reply to: batch convert multi-page pdfs? (some leads)

    Hi Paul,

I think the batch processing options that were in photoshop are now within Adobe Bridge (under ‘Tools’) but I have not worked with this as yet so not sure on the quality or whether it will do what you need.

I had to do a similar thing last year with a pdf of lots of pages of slides that I had to link into an indesign file for digital print. I did this by

Exporting the pdf pages as seperate pages (in acrobat)
batch processing those pdf files to jpgs (graphicconverterX)

This worked really well for what I needed to do.

One other thing to mention is that most text in jpg files will be rasterised but I am guessing when you say ‘funky’ its more funky than it would normally be for jpg quality.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Brad,

Have you tried setting up a ‘master page’ this maybe worth looking into.

    Hello,

I know this is probably a little late and I am sure you got this sorted with the printer (I have just joined this site) but for future reference there is a plug in that you can get which I found really useful for different spread views/rotating etc..
