OK, I understand, thanks. And it’s certainly the easiest way to do it.
But do you have an idea why -in another situation, it’s abstract-, 2 masks touching each other still leave a line at the boundary ? I shouldn’t !!

    Thanks ! 🙂

    Thanks for your answer, Dave.
If I understand well, your solution is about the same as changing the precomp size in order to fit with the half of the comp size.
    I didn’t even think about that ! :-/

But if you know or somebody knows why 2 masks just touching each other still leave a thin line at the boundary, I’d be glad to understand that.

    Thanks ! 🙂

Ok, I’ve understood : those shapes weren’t closed, and that’s why I didn’t have the options.

Thanks for your answer, Steve… but it didn’t work.

There is little to do in this effect, so I can’t say it doesn’t work because I don’t know how to use it. I changed all that I could, I defined the 3 points (black, center, white) easily, since it’s a black and white video… Stabilizing the curves, it’s worse, and stabilizing the luminosity or the levels, I can’t see any difference.

Maybe it’s because the variations of luminosity are too high.

Or maybe there is another solution ? 🙂

    Thanks for your ideas.

Maybe nobody knows… but maybe you could tell me how to ask one layer to follow the same animation of scale of another one, but 65 % smaller ?
Then I’d try to mix it with the time expression… ?

    Thanks for your help.

    HOW STUPID I AM !! :))
The pick whip was the solution !! 🙂 I didn’t even think to use it ! You were right !

    The right name was :
    effect(“Balance des couleurs (TLS)”)(“Saturation”)
(written in french into an english language… All mixed !!)

Thank you for the idea ! (and for your patience… 🙂

Sorry, I had to tell you I don’t know what is the pick whip… But it seems to be very interesting !! 😉
Maybe you can explain its function in a few words, and I will try to find it in my french version ?

Thank you for your answer, Dan.

I tried what you proposed, but unfortunately it doesn’t work : writing ” effect(“Color Balance (HLS)”)(“Saturation”)
” at the place of “scale”, “opacity” or else, I’m given this message :
Impossible to find the effect named “Color Balance (HLS)”

I don’t understand why… Do you have an idea ??

    Thanks ! 🙂
