    I am trying to bring the subtitles I made in Avid into DVD Studio Pro’s subtitle track. Ideally this would be done in such a way that I could edit the subtitles in DVD Studio Pro if needed. So, initially I need to figure out how to export a text file for the subtitles in my Avid project.

    My avid project is 30 frames. Why illustrator not photoshop? And I don’t understand exactly the expression you are recommending – could you explain a little more thoroughly for an after effects beginner?
