“I have a friend who has a PC with two – 175 gig hard drives…” I figured this would be done on a PC.

As for MAC Cinematize isn’t bad, just can’t remember if it does batches.

Are these VOB files located in Video_TS folders? If so, TMPGENC is the way to go. In TPMGENC there is a source wizard that you can choose the VIDEO_TS folder. You can do a batch encode to QT, AVI, MPEG2, MPEG1 and so on.

PLUS THIS PROGRAM IS CHEAP AND WILL YIELD GREAT RESULTS!!!

My problem is I am using a SD-2000 to encode for Scenarist, so I cant go with the direct to DVD from Premiere. I need the video to be on miniDV with the squished look rather than looking like it is already 16:9. I am going to get a demo of premiere and see what I can find out. Running out of time!!

    Thanks for the response.

Wow I did not realize they have a Mastering Edition. I may have to buy this one. I’ve been looking for a way on how to get a DLT back to a Video_TS folder. I guess I should say thanks for helping me out! Last I used DVD After Edit was version 1.0. Sorry for the incorrect information.

Even with DVD After Edit this cannot be accomplished. The DLT contains the DDP image. Currently there is no program that will allow you to pull the DDP from the DLT and convert it back to an Image file or to the Video_TS folder. Gear is supposed to put this option in a future release, however with the master having CSS I doubt DVD After Edit will allow you to do anything with it. Your best bet is to try and find a pressed disc of it and remove the CSS (Although I do not condone)and extract the DVD that way.

    Hope this helps!

February 5, 2007 at 12:41 pm in reply to: ????_adding audio and video transition / DVDSP4

1.Create your transition (After Effects, Motion)
2.Render to DVD compliant MPEG2 stream (m2v and wav)
    3.Add track in DVDSP
4.button action to goto transition track
5.transition track end action to original button destination.

since transitions are usually small you can duplicate the transition track for how ever many buttons you have on your DVD menu. Each ones end action going to your button destination.

hope this helps and good luck.
