    Hi,

    Is it online at all?
    Is it black, or blank?
What if you place something to a below-track?
Does the working audio come from the same file?
Can you play now that file (it may be crrupted in some way, say it’s on an USB drive and unplugged too early?)
What if you move the file away? (Into another directory)
Vegas then asks for a replecement, you can replace it with the same file, or another -say a backup of the original, just to see that the problem is not with the original file…

    Hi,
    I can confirm.
The last wedding I did with my old V1E last year in august, is impossibble to open with V14.
The footage is about 75 GB, the veg file is 1.8MB
    Never opens in V14 🙁

September 28, 2016 at 5:10 am in reply to: Sony Vegas Pro 13 – How to use Text “Location”?

    Hi,

you can keyframe the legacy text plugin.
Just click animate, add a keyframe, move the playhead, add another keyframe, and type a letter.
    And see…. 🙂
Th rest is intuitive, I think.
    Should I create a tutorial video? 🙂

    Hi Steve!

I’m sure this is a new bug introduced in Vegas 14, and it should not behave that way.
Report the issue to Magix, they need to fix it.

September 28, 2016 at 5:01 am in reply to: 30min video 6 hour rendering time!

I always do single pass render with a slightly higher bitrate, but lower framerate (25p)
    Never had quality issues.
But, if I would have to change something that may affect quality towards wore, I’d check if the settings still works good.
I mean render 1 or 2 minutes only, and that shows the quality.
That you can do as well, render just 1 minute, see how it looks. And if it’s OK, render the whole thing – overnight maybe.

  • ” so If I moved an event all sync is lost between the event pan/crop keyframes and any keyframes in the Opacity (composite) envelope.”

    Hi,

if you have “lock envelopes to events” switched on, the sync should be maintained. At least with the points on the envelopes that are within the boundary (on time axis) of the event, when you move it.

I used to add 2 extra point on the envelope at the start and the end of the event, before I move it.

    Hi,

    Sorry to say YES. 🙁
What footage do you have in that project?
The project I’m experiencing this problem contains .m2t and .mxf files as footage.
During open that project I checked Task manager and resource monitor to see where the bottleneck could be.
I found that Vegas 14 reads .m2t and .mxf files very intensive.
Once I got to the timeline Vegas looks to behaves normal.

In that mail (for me) there’s a download link, an it points to a downloader, which is similar to that what the trial downloads. But this one gets all the stuff…

When I asked this I still didn’t have any Magix serial, and I wanted to access DVDA 7 trial.
Now I have serials, and can access the fully functional suite, so this topic is obsolete :))
