No i didnt know i could. Fun times now, when i try and export the sequence it says its in an unsupported codec

Update: it says No valid resolution found to be exported using same as source

Tried MPEG stream clip it kept crashing towards the latter part of the process. Got it sorted now i used handbreak.

Any reason for the 1 file in over 400 to become corrupt?

can u take some screen shots so i kn0ow what goes where? media files i.e stuff shot on the 5d yes? keep all them on my external? Once i have imported them into avid wont the media files then be on my imac? will i need my ext connected all the time? wheres the best place to put transcoded data?

really debating taking my machine to uni and get the lecturer to explain how it all works.

Is it easier to duplicate the sequence then transcode that sequence or go back to the original media folders where i linked from and do it there?

Hi thanks for the quick reply. Im using Version 6. All bought and paid for. I have a first year project due in 2morro and i cant get it out and onto a dvd.

I have attached a screen shot. None of the clips in the bins are different in colour
