Out of about 400 .MTS clips 2 or 3 say they wont import. The import bar gets to around 99.9% then i have an error that says Exception: DISK_DIR_NOT_FOUND, filename:Performance 2.MTS

When i try and link via ama it says There were errors linking AMA files. See the console for details. What is the console? Sorry to sound dumb im a first year editing student, currently on break and my lecturers are not contactable.

One of these clips is a 49 min stage performance which i desperately need.

    Any input would be appreciated

    Many Thanks

try using mpegstreamclip to extract as much as you can. Seems the files are corrupted.

Tried MPEG stream clip it kept crashing towards the latter part of the process. Got it sorted now i used handbreak.

Any reason for the 1 file in over 400 to become corrupt?

    Many Thanks

Too many reasons. Bad media / bad file copy. 1 out 400 ain’t bad.

Did you run repair timecode breaks in streamclip?
