If it’s a shape layer, select the Path attribute, copy, and paste into AI. Just the path will copy; fill and stroke won’t.

  • Oh, I meant 29.97! Brain fart.

Thanks, I’m relieved to hear about the Web not caring whether it’s 29.97 or 30. I’ll continue working in 29.97fps.

  • I am curious too about changing from 29.75 fps to 30 fps, and getting all the keyframes to align properly.

I am making videos using screen casts and Illustrator still images. The screen casts are captured at 30 fps, and the destination of the videos will be YouTube.

While learning my way around After Effects a couple of weeks ago I prepared a file with a lot of still image animations with many nested comps. I did it all at 29.75. But I now hear I should do the video at the same fps as the output. I have just upgraded to CS5.5.

I’d like to not have to redo all the work, plus this file is not finished. Aldo, the comps will be used in future videos of a series.

    Help?

    Thanks,

    Liz
