This is sort of in the same realm of questions. I thought you guys might be able to help. I am trying to export a clip from final cut with an alpha so that someone else can import it an use in their final cut as well. I’ve been having two problems. I’m using the chroma filter to key out some green screen footage and it will key before I render it, but not after. The second problem is that when I try to export (using quick time conversion and the animation and millions of colors + settings) I am not getting a keyable element. I have a feeling I’m missing something simple. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks so much! It’s the little things we all tend to miss. I just couldn’t figure out what was going on because the audio was nowhere near peaking when playing back in FCP. Thanks again!
