Now I see what you are talking about.. I used “DVD NTSC”. Should I be?

I am not really sure I understand the differences in all those:(

No..not really sure what that is, but I used “Main Concept MPEG-2” after you click “Make Movie” under Vegas Platinum

It only happened with one particular tape..I thought it was a tape problem until I saw other people had the problem.
It was a tape someone asked me to put onto dvd. I couldn’t do it. I haven’t had this problem with other tapes.

Thanks it worked. It is different capturing this way..a whole different box comes up and set up, but it works. I appreciate the help. If you figure how to get it back to ask you in the beginning, let me know.

I think the problem is a long time ago I set it automatically come up to DV so I don’t get the pop up question HDV or SDI question like you get. (Never thought I would get a HD camera!)

The instructions say to go to the video tab under preferences, I tried but there about 4 choices. I tried most of them. Could you tell me what you have under the tab is set at under “File” “Preferences” “Video”?

Also what it is set at under “Video” in the capture screen?

    Thanks in advance.
Or maybe that doesn’t even have anything to do with it either!

I also had the same problem and it also made my audio sound like everyone was underwater. I would be interested in the solution also.

How do you find out what your MBps are in Sony Vegas or DVD Arch?
If they are too high, how do you cut them back?

    Mary,
When you say to videotape it..Do you mean to pan the camera from letter to letter? If so, what is the reason to videotape the backside and reverse it? Why not just videotape the front?
Sorry, I am new to this…
