Yes, i’m importing the file via File>Import file into an already open project, double clicking the project file I want to import. And yes it comes into the Project window as a File.

When I open the file, I can see all the layers from that project – except for cameras and lights. I’ve tried dragging the contents of that file onto the composition, but it has none of the effects when I look at it on the timeline. I’m fairly new to AE so forgive me if i’m missing something completely simple 🙂
