Thanks Axel for your answer,
Yes, i used jpgs instead of video.
Thanks for the tip to work with a 2, or 4k sequence next time. I assume, the same sequence setting….
sequence setting:
23,976 fps
1620×1080 pixels
square pixels (1,0)
No fields (progressive scan)
… will do with a changed size (instead of the 1620×1080)?
I hope this still works smoothly.
Does the preview resolution have to match the project resolution, or can it be smaller for working speed?
So thats the way to go next time.
But for now i already made a 1620x 1080 sequence.
So i guess you are saying the sequence setting do matter for the export quality?
If i fill in a higher resolution with export it enlarges (interpolation) the sequence pixel setting instead of scaling the much bigger source material (the jpgs)?
Just to be clear..
What did you mean when you said you don’t understand the need for Ken buns? A matter of taste?
About the 16:9 vs 3:2 ratio.
I like to use wide angle a lot, and i feel it’s a waste of this angle sometimes (smaller spaces, not being able to take more distance, missing the top of a building..) Therefor i would like to use my whole chip.
But when i will combine photo and video i will go for 16:9.
Thanks,
Leo
