    Hi John.
    I will do that … although my experience with Sony Vegas support is disappointing. I reported rendering crashes last year, a well known general problem for Vegas, with no reponse. But I’ll give it a go.

    I record sound on a Zoom H4N in .wav 48Khz 24bit.

    I experience the exact same audio problem placing a file on the timeline using Vegas Pro 64bit build 714 for Win7.

    I also would be very happy to know about a fix, not a workaround (I will go try the AIF conversion to “survive”), as conversions are a hazzle, especially when the source is a standard ubiquitous format.
