  • After some troubleshooting I discovered the menu remote button is working when the manual advance button is checked.
In other words, my problem is reduced to this: Is there a manner to exit an automatic slideshow in encore?

    Hi Jeff,

    Indeed, thanks. It’s working now!

    Thank you,
    Lieven

  • I’m having the same problem here about exiting the slideshow before it ends. The menu remote action doesn’t do a thing on my dvd player. Although, on pc it seems to work fine?

    I’ve found it.
The problem was it was already transcoded (maybe because I already burnt a test DVD).
So what I needed to do, was to right click on each asset and revert to original. Than afterwards I changed the transcode settings by rightclicking it again, and I made a preset for a progressive setting.
You can’t change the timeline setting. The timeline takes the field order from the asset.

  • A little bit more information: my colleague is working with final cut 7.
Also, after I export the XML from premiere, and re-import it in premiere, the link is also gone in premiere.
It seems the link gets lost while exporting the XML.

    Thank you,
    Lieven

  • Hello Everybody,

Now, a year later, I’m again working on a project, and the problem keeps reoccurring even with premiere CS6 and premiere CC.
Does anybody ran into this problem too?

    Thank you,
    Lieven

December 10, 2015 at 1:35 pm in reply to: After effects / voronoi / newton / title sequence

    Meanwhile,
I’ve found the configuration in newton preferences: keep dormant bodies static before collision.
    So this solved my problem.

Now, I’ve found to generate this in 2D, and trying to make this 3D.

I’ve managed to generate gravity to 2D pieces after a collision using newton, but now I’m trying to make the pieces 3D.
I’ve managed to break up text in pieces with element 3D and voronoi, but I can’t use newton to make it fall down because it seems only to work with 2D shapes and text.
    Somebody got an idea?

    Hi,

2 years later, I want to do the same effect.
    But without succes.

    I’ve found this:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x15EwrT4F4A

    There’s an explanation around 4m30s.

What works for me is using the strobe light effect in premiere
    Settings:
    Blend with original: 0%
    Strobe Duration: 0,05
Strobe Period: 0,10 (for some reason, when making it smaller than 0,10 the effect is applied anymore)
    Strobe: Makes layer transparent.

  • The more I’m working with it, i’m discovering more.

The lower clip is actually a sequence of TGA’s (a slow motion with made with twixtor), I rendered a preview of it, but perhaps it’s better to export first a movie of that sequence and re-import it again in premiere, without using a preview render.

  • Hi Michael,

    Thanks for your answer.
Hmm, perhaps the problem could be the RAM indeed…
I’ll try to edit as much as possible on separate sequences before I copy all my clips into one sequence.

    Thank you!
    Lieven
