Thanks for all your replies, I tried with and without settings (audio, edl, etc) but it always crashes.
Restart, fresh start etc doesnt help either, I think the projetct is simply to big, when the project is completely finished I’ll try breaking it down into the 5 reels, maybe that will help.I don’t want to update until everything is finished, so maybe the 8.2 will fix it…

Yes I think you should bea able to do that Ola. I’ve now 2×470, 1redRocket and one 4LaneEsata card in it and it works like a charm. Space is enough in the Desktop 4 for 4 double space cards

I have done quite a few long form projects with 5 timelines and hadnt had problems.
I like to quickly show clients different parts of the movie if they want to see anything particular…You just have to have only the media that youll need in the browser. I would use a folder for each timeline.
Don’t use a clip from different folders otherwise youll get those crashes pretty soon!I would grade in Rec709 Gamma 2.4 (its standard, not 2.2!!) because you can calibrate that with your current monitor.
The XYZ conversion does usually the house that makes the DCP just tell them your Settings (Rec709, 2.4 Gamma, RGB colorspace) so they will do the correct conversion to DCI P3 XYZ colorspace and Gamma 2.6.lee

Ive just done a 90min feature R3D docu all in one big timeline in one project! Had no problem whatsoever
with performance. Had a ton of R3Ds loaded into the browser!
Ive 16 GB Ram,2x470s and a redrocket card.I like to quickly jump between beginning and end! 🙂

Yes please fix the auto replace! Its very time consuming on large projects to check if nothing gets autoreplaced!
Especially on projects that dont have proper Reelnames and TC (aka canon 5d, mixdowns…)Please let the user decide when to use it!

I think your cuda driver updatesautomatically. Had the same problem, after installing the old driver it fixed the problem. Check auto update

What signal are you outputting? My vt30 cant display 25progressive.

Ive contActed sony support and they said I should find it on the xrite homepage, but I couldnt find it.
In another thread I read that the tool is coming out in the next month or so…lee
