So I brought it to work and tried it on one of their imac 2ghz and it plays fine. Not sure why my macbook pro doesn’t want to handle it but Im just super relieved that I don’t have to trash the whole project. Phew….. thanks everyone. I am going to look into the software that will help add motion blur.. anyone have any experience with a specific one ? Any special tricks I need to know?

I use firewire 800 and the drive has around 100gb free. I’m going to try it today on a faster computer and see what happens. i followed the same procedure as I usually do–except the shutter speed was higher than it should have been. It’s for a wedding “music video” so a unique look is fine– but at this point I can’t even edit it.

I’ll check back later once I check it on other computers.

Sorry, shutter speed.. that’s what I meant. guess I’m still tired.

I use that mac/hdd/codec set up before with no problems. The only difference is that this footage was shot with a high shutter speed.
