Wasn’t a tutorial, but once I saw Brian Maffit explaining (his own) Card Dance in the TT series for AE 6. It was a while ago, but as I can recall he could even achieve a moving crowd (!) by animating a Dingbat set with Card Dance.
Anyway, try to find someone who still owns that old series, it’s still worth every penny. I don’t know anything about the recent one…

Yeah, I usually render a lossless .avi, then export it to tape from Premiere Pro. It works well for me.

April 14, 2006 at 2:13 pm in reply to: COW Tutorials: After Effects Creating a SlideshowSimplicity is the key in this tutorial. Simple tools, amazing result. I mean, if you see David Copperfield flying in the air you know that there must be something in the background, but if a street magician makes magic e.g. in your hand, you say’d rather Wow!
This is what I’m saying now, Mr. Street Magician: Wow! :))Happy Easter everybody!

If you have Premiere Pro, you can create the Universal Countdown Leader (or something like this), which counts down from 8-2 and has a visible little circle 1 frame before the program starts, thus it’s much eaiser to find the very beginning.
So if you create that clock, save as a movie, and you can return to it anytime. If you resize the clock, you can include the credits while the clock counts down.Google it, or click on Artbeats’ banner up here… 🙂
