I am looking at working on a series of prints for a cinema. The idea is to take 1000’s of tiny stills and make them into giant A0 photomosaic posters. The main problem is how to ge 1000’s of tiny images into photoshop and organised one after the other.
I was wondering if there are any plug ins which will import that many stills and organise them on the page.

    Cheers for any help

What if you use a standalone? There are a few on the market, give it a Google, or take a look at this:

    (for PC)

    (for MAC)

I have used Andreas, the quality of the resulting mosaic is astounding. I res my images down with a photoshop action as you do not need many pixels from your source images (speeds processing up quite a bit).

Thanks for the info, I had used google, but the programes I looked at could not cope with the 7000+ tiles we will be using. (I am mac based)

    Cheers for all the advice
