    I have firmware 1.02_00078.

Is it possible to do it in two steps – updating from 1.02 to 1.05 and then to 1.16 or later? Or is it only Sony that does that?

    Cheers

Nope, Rescue PRO didn´t work – but Card Recovery did and Treasured completed the task.
It wasn´t any important material but for a reasonable 216 USD I could have 1 hour of filming restored without any losses. Good to know the day when the shit really hits the fan!

So I did use Kensington adapter and Sandisk 16 GB class 4 – was I just unlucky or should I use another brand or just another classification?

Well, I can´t do anything with them. Apparently its not a .mov either. FCP can´t import it, Clip browser can´t. I tried Treasured and the preview showed that its actually the footage I did lose. So I need a converter I guess to fix them…
    (Edit)
I´ve just found out that my mp4s probably lacks “headers” which has turned them into .mov. So i guess there must be some software that can add a proper header to make them readble for Clip browser

    Hi!

I recovered my 21 (2GB) lost files with Data Recovery. But they all were filed as .mov not .MP4. I tried to simply rename them to MP4 but the Clip Browser couldn´t import any of them.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers
