Thanks a lot. I am now able to get the “b-roll” video included by adding another video track timeline and deleting the sound. Obviously I am brand new at video editing. This Vegas program seems to me as difficult to learn as Photoshop would be.

OK, but I dont see “unlink” on the main screen, in any dropdown menu, and “unlink” doesn’t even show up in a search of the “help” file. So can you tell me how to unlink the audio from a video? I should mention that I just have the free trial version of Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8.0
