Regarding images, my images are about 2MB each on average. Is that too large? When we’re done we want to write it out to DVD’s. Is that too large for that application, should I compress my images and if so how far can I go without losing quality on a tv screen.

My timing is on at the timeline. My computer definitely lags some when runnning the preview, but if I stop it and start right before the transitions, it happens right when it should. And I just changed my preview to Draft-Quarter and they were where I wanted them to be. However, the render is still way off.

    Great thanks.

As for the original tape, I have a SONY DCR-SR62 so it’s all digital. I am afraid of hard drives failing so I want to have it in two places. And the reason for the DVD’s is to keep it offsite or at least not in the same room in case of fire or other disaster, but that is a LOT of DVD’s. I back up my pictures to mozy, but I just think video is too large for that solution. Still figure that one out.
