Sooooo… I just found out some interesting information about the PD-150. It natively shoots DVCAM at 48K, and when switching to DV, it defaults to 32K. You can go back in and override the default to record 48K DV, which I did. However, when I did this, an “NS” showed up next to “48K” on the display, which I just found out means “non-synchronous”. It seems crazy that this would be a common enough occurrence to have such a prominent place in the display.
Anyway, does anyone know if there is a way to work around this in Final Cut?
