Heather it sounds like you’ve got a an AVCHD folder? Is this correct? And you’re looking to create a DVD without editing the files?

If this is so, you’ll find the video files in the following folder structure:

PRIVATE > AVCHD > BDMV > STREAM

Here you’ll find you video files as .MTS files.

You should be able to drag these into the ‘Project’ panel of Encore.

From here you’ll need to make a ‘Timeline’ from the video files and then you can include them in your project.
