Thanks again for all your help. I finally found the answer after going over all the posts. On of Walters refereed to the quality settings with regard motion blur. Well I found for some reason the quality settings had changed (by me probably but I cant think why I would have) to 12. Obviously with my poor little macbook pro that was too much for it to handle. Ive taken it to 3 to see if thats acceptable 7 its taken the render time to 3 hours from 50 hrs, much better.
Thought I might share with you my Pref page to see if there might be a prob there. It says actual cpus used 0!! That doesnt sound right. You can probably tell Im on a steep learning curve & bing patient for a new machine with a good graphics card etc.
I would like to say by the way, that I really get alot out of this forum. It has taught me so much as Ive been learning ae over the past year, so thanks you guys especially the regulars. Im sure all the other forum readers feel the same too.
Sorry when I said I changed something I just meant the camera movement. I used that long Comp as a base and made some smaller comps out of that, focusing on different aspects of the item I animated.
Here is an example of what Im doing. The animation is at the start.
Did this issue get resolved as Im having the same trouble. It seems to have started after I used dynamic link with PPro. I didn’t end up using the link so deleted it but the problem persisted.
