    Yeah i did use a widescreen template while rendering. The black border isn’t just on the sides its, on all sides of the video. The original video is in widescreen format and the rendered video is also in widescreen format.

    Hey thanks a lot for your reply!
    The video that i am working with is in .avi format and I primarily render in mpeg-2 and in the custom settings, the only thing that i change is the “include audio stream” because for some reason sometimes the audio from default mpeg-2 is excluded. I’m using 720×480 widescreen resolution. I selected the “match output aspect” in event pan/crop and then i tried to render again and i still had the same border around the whole video. I’m not sure if I accidentally selected something or what but i cant render any more videos until i figure how to get this border to go away. thanks
