Unfortunately the subjects aren’t able to be re-shot on a green screen. We now have a portable greenscreen to shoot newer subjects on, but of course he wants the old ones changed out. The technique I’ve been using is multiple masks with as few keyframes as possible, but was hoping there was a faster way. I’ll look into CS5 and try to show him the savings. Thanks for the responses.

Thank you very much. I figured it was easy to do, just didn’t know how.

I dont know if it matters or not, but the video plays fine in my P2 viewer, just no in Premier.

Im using CS3 and I have installed all the updates. It was working fine up until about a week ago. At first Premier wouldn’t open, so i deleted the preference file and now my HD doesn’t play.

I set it up to do it that way but the rendering was going to take almost twice as long as the footage was. I wound up dubbing the clips I needed back to the P2 card and used my camera to dub the footage to mini-DV. I know I lost quality, but it’s what my client wanted.

It’s going from Premiere Pro CS3 to mini-DV on the Panasonic HVX200 via firewire. It has worked in the past, but for some reason the audio isn’t going through this time.
