Well I solved the problem as nothing else was working. So I finally just reinstalled ever stinkin video plyaer, converter I had. Uninstalled Quicktime, Real Plyaer, Ojosoft, JV Player, Uninstalled Sony Vegas. Rebooted. Downloaded FFDShow and it finally worked! Man absolutely crazy that downloading soemthing affected the whole stinkin thing.

So now I will systematically Reinstall the uninstalled programs and see if I can pinpoint which one is causing the hang up.

Thanks for the info and ideas guys.

Partition. I try to keep only OS stuff on C Partition and put everything else on D partition. I do not use an External HD for editing and pulling video off. I only use an External once I have edited the movies and then transfer them over to the External.

    Thanks!
