Hey ben thanks for the advice and I followed the tutorial and it worked out pretty well except the last part with the noise..For some reason when i set Pattern to Custom and Custom Shatter Map to the noise layer i seemed to have lost my effect instead of it turning into sand..I will keep plugging away though and hope i get it…Thanks Again i really appreciate it

Ok thanks, I will look into that tutorial as well.. I really appreciate the help since i felt i was going in circles trying to figure out what i was doing wrong..On the tutorial that is listed on here i realized i was having a problem when he said “Create a new composition the same size and length as the previous, call it “wind”.
Create a new solid mask it off and animate its position over about 2 seconds.
Your final result should look something like this” Unfortunately my results came out wrong everytime..Thanks Again

Thanks for finding a tutorial that i can watch because i find them to be easier for me to follow ..I have a problem with the mask and animating it as well..I will watch this tutorial and see if it will help me understand things better..Thanks for the help

I know how to search for things in the forum and i have been to that tutorial but i still needed help..Im not sure why you had to be sarcastic towards me when im here asking for help because i dont understand stuff in that effect..Anyways thanks for making me feel welcome

That is a very nice demo reel..Maybe when you have more time you can explain in detail because I’m confused by what you are trying to tell me..In your demo that is exactly the effect i was looking for…Thanks Again

I have purchased the full version of zaxwerks and trapcode shine and entered the key into options as it stated..I know they activated because the watermark from the demo has disappeared..Any other ideas would greatly be appreciated..Thank you
