Thanks for responding Michael. I created the rotating text using CC Sphere, adding a light to cast the shadow on the background. I rendered the outside of the text so it seems to rotate around the background layer. Since the rotating text never really “disappears” behind the background what can I do with the shadow to make it more animated?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the tip Darby. I have CS4. I have a pretty nice basic look with CC Sphere, but I will definitely give your suggestions a try!!! Anything to try and make it look better!

    Thanks again< Kurt

Thanks for responding Todd. I have updated as you suggested and was still having the problem. I read some other posts and performed the shift, option, command at start-up and it is now starting up again.

    Thanks,

Thanks for responding Matt. I know AE is more memory intensive. If I can’t max out my computer memory right now, should I get what I can in 4 gig sticks and continue to update as more funds become available. Or should I get 2 gig sticks if I can only afford to get 8 gigs right now. I know I need to get matching pairs. Also what about the 2 512 mb sticks that came with the machine, should I leave them in for now? Or would it be best to match all the pairs?

I am importing the files as I would normally do in Premiere. Just like the instructions link you sent me.
Part of the file shows up in the project window and the program just crashes(spinning rainbow icon).

If I can’t import them into AE. Can I use Premiere some how? I am used to FCP and am now using CS3.
