You just beat me to it, Alan. I was about to suggest that everyone should just chill, because I could imagine you thinking, “Geez, hold your horses, people! I can’t be everywhere at once!!” 🙂

I don’t think you’re going to lose customers just because we didn’t get our free “fix” this month, after so many years of free fixes…haha.

Speaking for myself, I’ll never get to use all the free emitters that I already have, let alone any more that you give us.

But I will admit, the monthly “wonders” are definitely an addiction.

Very interesting emitters this month, Alan. I can think of lots of uses for those. Thanks.

Just an update. Turns out it was a Steve Wright tute, from Imagineer.

    Thanks, all.

Thanks for that, Roland. I’ll contact him.

    Cheers.

Thanks anyway, Michael. I just thought somebody might know it well and be able to point me to it. I’ll use that link you gave. Might be there.

I don’t know why the footage was shot against a green screen, if he planned to roto it anyway. Maybe it was footage he had from something else.

I would use Rotobrush. But I’m still learning, so I’m watching every tute I can find.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Tom.

Speaking for myself, I’d love to see some meteors and/or meteorites. I know we have asteroids and comets and so on. But I’ve never been able to find or make a realistic meteor… a so-called “shooting star”.

As you’d know, they have a unique motion, in that as they enter the atmosphere they leave a bright white very thin trail that quickly fades, sometimes showing tiny bright specks just before they do.

I’ve tried making one, believe me, and if you can add a couple to your next library, my hat’s off to you! 🙂

    Thanks,
    Kurt.

    Alan,

Sorry, it was a problem with the USB drive. Used a different one and all is well.

    Alan,

I downloaded the October SE emitters but when I unzipped the file and installed it, it doesn’t show up in PI. What am I doing wrong?

Speaking for the Southern Hemisphere, we certainly will, Alan! 🙂

  • And much appreciated, too, Alan.
