Yes, I think this is the problem.. as I’m only having this problem with FCP projects on my external, should I run repairs, or reformat the external, then dump the files back onto it?

My file sharing was turned off already..

I’m still able to edit existing footage from one of my drives, but it’s incredibly slow. I’ll try rebuilding the start-up disks, and then resort to wiping the system. I think that should get me going again. Thanks for tips!

Mac G5 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 512 MB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive G5 iMac ATI Radeon 9600 video card.

I don’t think it’s ever been rebuilt.
