Please tell me what you did! I am having the exact same problem with exact same camera.
I also cannot click the ‘Pass Through’ option and Vegas cannot set FPS to 30. What did you do??

Damn, I really don’t know enough about video to answer those questions.
One other question… is there a way to bring .MOD files into Premiere Pro? Says unsupported file type when I try now. Any tricks?

Damn, I’m really strapped for cash right now so I can’t try out that codec.
And Vince, I checked that link but that page on deinterlacing is soooooooo long I really didnt know where to look. I skimmed through it but can’t seem to find a good solution. I’ve used these same settings on some .MOD files that were ripped from an 8mm camcorder and they turned out great. Not sure what else to try but our site is launching in a couple weeks and I need to get this figured out or I’ll end up uploading some low-qualtiy vids.

Steven, the clip that is linked above was exported using the ‘Desktop 640×480’ setting

I’m not sure, how can I check this? Could this also be a codec issue?
