Thanks for that detailed work around. Sounds like a good solution to my problem. I new to this so I appreciate the help. It surprises me though that something so basic is not achievable as standard in fcp.
    Thanks all.

Thanks for the tip David, sounds like a great idea. I’ll be sure to try that out on a future project. In this project the clips are already very similar, 2 angles of an interview. I’ll try it anyway.

The event viewer is not really what I’m after as I want to see a clip in the timeline that I have already corrected. Then be able to compare that to another clip later in the timeline that I want to visually match.

    Thanks for your help.

Fantastic, thanks for taking the time to show me that Simon. It looks to be just what I need. I’m glad i’m not the only one having trouble with the edge collision. I’m newish to this so didn’t know if I was doing something wrong! I’ll give Oscillate a try when I have a spare 5 and let you know how I get on.
    Thanks

Thanks Mark. I could try that but he is actually landing on another object, and there are other elements in the scene including text so I don’t want to get the perspective out of whack. Is there maybe way to make the object he lands on act like an edge?
I tried repel and attract be then he doesn’t settle and keeps bobbing around which is kinda fun but not what I’m after.
    Appreciate it, thanks.
