I’ll start modeling in 3ds Max right away.
As far as the “drill” turntable that Chris suggested it’s a very clever idea for one axis rotations. I always prefer live footage over cg. But for the project I’m working on it’d be impossible to achieve this kind of shooting (..and within the budget of the demo) on stage. But I’ll possibly build one in the near future.
