If You compare them 1:1 ME 66 wins 2 class. Itis less noisy, better freq response and You have the Chance to combine the output stage with all other. Omni and Lavalier.
The capsule are very stabil and if You buy another one years later, both sounds equal.

I heard that Marantz had problems with the PreAmps pad in former Series.
