Yes I did… and it’s really said that I’ve got the lastest update
-
It doesn’t work… I did the update, then I run Data Rescue to try to recovery my files… but the hard drive still eject by itself. I install G-Raid v5 like you suggest me. And yes my hard drive have one USB 3 port and 2 Firewire 800 ports.

This is the model I got: G-Technology 8TB G-RAID External Dual-Drive Storage System
The link of the firmware update you send me it’s for G-Drive. Is it the same I need to use?
I will try to do the update! Hope it will work

Actually, someone suggest me to run Disk Utility to make a verification… and it gave me an error. I tried to repair, but with Disk Utility I was not able to do so… So I tried with Drive Genius which I’ve been able to repair the hard drive… now should be ok.
What you mean by firmware? Thank you for the reference as well… I will write to make the follow up because it’s not the first time I got hard time to eject the hard drive.
And at the same time, I got another hard drive that always disconnect by itself… so I tried to back up all my files on another hard drive… but it’s very hard, it’s super long and if my file is like 1GB well the hard drive will eject… so I’m not able to back up. I wanted to back up everything to format the hard drive… Do you know a way I could do to make the back up so I can format without loosing everything?
What is rebuild a hard drive? Is this could be an option without loosing all my files? I have Disk Warrior but I’m not sure to understand how it’s working… so before trying anything I want to make sure I’m doing the correct thing…Thanks for your advise!

Thanks Walter!
It’s working now 🙂 -
Well, I just did a screen shot… my top view, I’m often changing it to see the different angle of my 3D… And yes I do know that I need to use 3D, since it’s 3D animation I’m doing… You just see a 2D on the screen shot….
Anyway, really the question is at the beginning up to around 30 sec… what is the ”layer slight shades lines” on the timeline… why it creates this when I extend the beginning?
-
Actually I’m moving the image, so the position is alway changing almost every frame. My in point, I needed to change it and do animation until the point that I started at first, that’s why I extend the beginning and my end point is ok…
The ”map acoustic” layer is the one I move the position almost every frame for the animation… and as you can see, the beginning to 30sec, the what I extend and you can see the ”layer slight shades lines”. And I wanted to use the ”Write-on” effect for the beginning of my project, but nothing appear… is it because of the ”layer slight shades lines” and why’s that?

March 11, 2014 at 3:31 am in reply to: FCP7toMC Import footage in Media Composer/Subtitling/Create DVDThanks you so much! I will make some search for subtitle but I think it should not be to complicated… seems to work like FCP.
For the audio, you told me later we can export the audio for Pro Tool, with all the separate track?
I only see the AAF, in export. How to bring the audio for ProTool with Premiere?Thank!

March 11, 2014 at 1:48 am in reply to: FCP7toMC Import footage in Media Composer/Subtitling/Create DVDThanks Shane for the explication, this example you explain me really tell me that maybe premiere would be better for me, since we often work with png and animated images…
But still, I will put in application both to be able to compare and having the best idea which one would fit the best for me.
So with Premiere, I will still compress my video the same way as I use to do with FCP, which is compress in Apple Pro Res LT 422 and then import in Premiere?
And for the subtitling, working with the STL file, you know how it’s working?Thank you very much for your advise Shane!
